We have an exciting concert schedule that includes annual spring and winter concerts and special holiday performances for the 4th of July, Labor Day, and Christmas. Most concerts take place in beautiful Spreckels Park in the heart of Coronado.
Founded in 1997, Coronado Concert Band’s mission is to create opportunity for musicians of all ages to come together in an ensemble to exchange ideas, develop skills, and have fun while producing quality music for the entertainment of the greater community.
Diverse, from traditional wind band literature that spans more than a century, to contemporary works by celebrated composers. Greatest Marches, Patriotic Music of America, Jazz Standards, Big Band, Broadway Shows, Hollywood Films, Sentimental Ballads, Holliday Favorites, and more.

EXPERIENCE – VISION – CREATIVITY
Frederick Lee is a conductor and music educator with 35 years of public school and community ensemble experience. He has been the Music Director and Conductor of the Coronado Concert Band for 18 years, bringing tremendous joy to the community through their numerous concerts each year. He is currently the Band Director at Rancho del Rey Middle School in the Sweetwater Union High School District.
